From school children to grandparents, behavioral health problems affect people of all ages and backgrounds.

Good mental health is feeling comfortable about yourself and others and about meeting the demands of life. Our caring mental health professionals help build your capacity to handle life’s challenges, foster strong relationships, and enjoy a happy and productive life.

If you feel your mental health could be better, or you’re struggling with depending too much on drugs or alcohol, you can start the ball rolling towards a more healthy and happy life by calling us.

Asking for help can be hard. We promise to make it as easy as we can.

Let's Talk

Most mental health care is a conversation between you and our professional staff member.

You’re in a private office sitting in a comfortable chair. The professional begins by trying to make you comfortable, for example by sharing something about him or herself or asking you some general questions.

When you’ve relaxed a little, the professional will want to know what brings you in, what help you are looking for. Then, the two of you will begin to explore specific steps you can take to feel better. All conversations are confidential, and you don’t have to talk about things you choose not to. Most often, when leaving a mental health appointment people feel energized and happier.

While most mental health care is about talking, sometimes there’s testing and sometimes there are medications. Most tests are easier than anything you took in school; it’s simply asking questions about things like your symptoms or what you think about certain things. The advances in mental health medications have been amazing over the last 50 years and so prescriptions are written for many of our patients.
